How to Create New File

To create new file,

1.    Go to File then select New.
2.     Rename your file then click OK.

You can also open an image. To open an image,

1.    Go to File, select Open.
2.    Select the image document you want to open.

How to Modify Image Size

To modify image size,

1.    Go to Image then select Image Size. You can change the pixel dimension and document size.
2.    To have a good resolution, change resolution to 300.
3.    Click OK when you’re done.

How to Create Layer

Layers are used to perform tasks such as compositing multiple images, adding text to an image, or adding vector graphic shapes. You can apply a layer style to add a special effect such as a drop shadow or a glow.

To create layer,

1.    Go to Layer then click New.

To duplicate layer,

1. Select the layer you want to duplicate. Right click then choose Duplicate Layer.

How to Add Text

To add text,

1.    Create New Layer.
2.    Select Text tool.

How to Crop Image

To crop image,

1.    Select Crop tool.
2.    Select the are you want to crop then press Enter.

How to Erase Background

To erase background,

1. 1. Select pentool. Be sure to to select Path.
2. To make a good curve, click the path > hold Ctrl > point pentool on the anchor point,
3. Close the path.
4. Right click > make selection > 0 (zero)
5. Press delete.

How to Apply Filter Effects

1.    Go to Filter and select the effect you want for your image.

How to Change Image Mode

To change Image Mode,
1.    Go to Image, click Mode, then select Grayscale.
2.    Discard color information.
3.    Image will turn gray.
4.    To add color, go to Image, click Mode, then select Duatone.
5.    Select options on the drop down box depending on the number of inks you want to mix.
6.    Once you’re done mixing inks, go to Image, click Mode, then select RGB Color.
