However, CTR around 70% is said to be very good for good profit. Even after 65% of CTR I was not able to make much profit. There was something wrong with my website. No, actually, there was excess investment towards adwords.

Hence, I started working on Adowrds costing vs. Adsense earnings. I found that, I was paying to Adwords equivalent to what I was getting from Adsense. This was my main key point for profit. Finally, I selected some low cost keywords from Adwords and fixed CPC lower than the adsense CPC. Now, I am getting reasonable profits.

Finally, we shall conclude with the understanding that for earning good profit from adsense it is just not enough working on ad placement and ad campaign but it is also equally important working on costs.

Aside from the topic, what do I need to do to have a great BLOG site? Answer: Try creating your blog with wordpress.org which is a very good free blogging software. As this is open source (no-one and everyone owns it) there are 100s of tools and widgets and templates available to provide a good website to your visitors. These tools include options to create forums, submit your blog to various social bookmarks and websites like linkedin, facebook, twitter etc.

How many blog posts do I need until Google Adsense will put some ads on my page? Answer: I don’t think google adsense ads depend upon number of blog posts. Is google adsense not showing anything or is it showing public service ads? BTW there are a lot of other advertising websites which work in conjunction with google adsense. I would look at what the website will need:

Dreamweaver can be used to design all three types of sites – ie, you could build a Drupal site in Dreamweaver or a WordPress site in Dreamweaver. In fact, I’ve done all three – Drupal, WordPress, and straight HTML in Dreamweaver.

Drupal is a CMS – so if you’re building a site that needs a lot of management or is going to have people managing the content who don’t know or don’t want to learn HTML, this might be a good choice. Drupal offers lots of plugins and extensions like a blog, calendar, and forum. So if you think the site is going to have all those things eventually this might be a good choice.

WordPress is first and foremost a blogging tool. Yes, lots of people are starting to use it to manage their entire site, but most of the time you can tell these sites because they look like blogs. They might have 1 or 2 static pages, but typically the blog is the most important part of a WordPress site. If that’s what your site is, then this is a good solution.

Finally, Dreamweaver alone. You can build any type of site you want using just Dreamweaver. You won’t have the built-in tools for blogging or CMS like you do with Drupal and WordPress, but you have the flexibility to build anything you like. And as I said before, you can use Dreamweaver to build and maintain the templates for your Drupal or WordPress sites.
