Using WordPress is How to Create a Website & How to Make a Blog

Using WordPress is How to Create a Website & How to Make a Blog

Have you been in search of the proper ways regarding how to create a website or how to make a blog? Do you realize that you can do both by using WordPress?

However, You must be aware of the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites.

WordPress.com Sites are more for entertainment blogging, not for optimizing or monetizing the website for profit. WordPress.org sites involve an individual to acquire their unique domain name, and the need to host the site with a hosting company. It is these types of sites that replace normal websites, and they are a lot less difficult to optimize as well as to maintain than regular websites.

WordPress utilizes what is called plugins to customize your site. Most plugins are free, but some are paid.

Let me give you an example: I have websites that have been converted into WordPress blogs. I have a WordPress Blog that has been transformed into a membership site simply by using a paid plugin.

The simplicity of use is but one great benefit of using WordPress for all of your website needs. You no longer have to pay a graphic designer or web manager to develop or sustain your sites.

As soon as I learned how to create a website and make a blog using WordPress, releasing myself from the grips of a high priced web master and web manager, that is when this business became significantly easier for me.

Plus, search engines love WordPress. It is less difficult to have your WordPress sites ranked on the search engines, and with the exception of paying for a domain name, as well as for website hosting, it is basically a complimentary product.

Did you realize that:
1) There are at this time approximately 17-Million Americans out of a job? 2) Are you also aware that at any given time there are approximately 750,000 individuals on the Internet trying to find work at home opportunities?

For many, the Internet is the is the next great opportunity, and now a great number of Americans are increasingly being exposed to it, given that they find themselves unemployed and they are looking at every potential advantage that they can get their hands on.

Having said that, don’t anticipate to turn on your computer and begin making a living. It’s not at all that simple. And don’t expect to create a website utilizing WordPress and instantaneously think you will be bringing in the big dollars. It just does not work that way, however with suitable instruction, a complete amateur can now make use of the easy ways to make money online.

World Class Training Leeds to Successful Outcomes

When you invest in the appropriate instruction, and you adhere to established systems that lead you, step-by-step, towards success, then your hopes for making money online may become a reality.

For instance, I know of a teenager, actually, a 19-year old young man who makes over 0,000 per month working at home online. Now let that sink in for a minute. He is ONLY 19-years old! I’m sure many of you would be pleased to be generating ,500 a month, or possibly ,000 monthly, nevertheless the point I am making is the fact that anybody can do this with correct coaching.

The strategy to the Internet is bringing targeted visitors: This young man says that, “once you know how to control the amount of traffic coming to your websites, you will not EVER concern yourself with money EVER again”.

Have you been battling in this business because you have not had enough customers coming to your websites? If so, focus on driving more traffic.

If a teenager can accomplish this, you can accomplish similar success too. Step-by-Step training is what you need to follow!

How to Make a Blog, FREE!

He, and almost all of the successful web marketers build their sites using WordPress. It is by far the most effective, the easiest, and the cheapest products to work with, even for the novice. And like I’ve said, search engines like Google and Yahoo love WordPress.

If you have been scouring the web for the best cost effective ways on how to create a website or the best ways on how to make a blog, look no further, you can accomplish both making use of WordPress.

These videos begin with the installing of WordPress, and then they take you to the creation of the sites/blog, and end with fine tuning the settings in ways that most WordPress users have no clue of.

1. Don’t Overdo it

The first thing you want to consider is the actual look and design of your blog. ‘First impressions’ are very important when it comes to the look of a blog. If someone stumbles upon your blog and it so snazzily colored that they have a hard time viewing your blog, they are likely to beat a hasty exit and bookmark it as a site never to return to.

2. Keep those Pop-Ups Down

Additionally, if you plan on using third-party advertising on your website, you will want to make sure that the advertising is not obtrusive and that it does not promote viruses or pop-ups. The majority of blog browsers frown upon pop-ups. In fact, 9 out of every 10 people will never return to a site again if they discover it features pop-up advertisements.

3. Write on something you are Passionate about

One of the most important blogging tips is to make sure that you write with passion! Whatever you are choosing to blog about, make sure that it is something that people will want to read. Make sure that it is well written and free of both grammar and spelling mistakes. Additionally, make sure that you make posts on a regular basis. If you only blog once a month you can’t expect to gain a following.

These simple tips are effective and are very easy to implement! Take your time when it comes to the look and feel of your blog. The more effort you put into it the better your chances are of gaining and keeping readers.

Photoshop Basics Tutorial To Create Amazing Digital Scrapbooks

Photoshop Basics Tutorial To Create Amazing Digital Scrapbooks

Creating digital scrapbooks are easier than ever due to the power of digital technology and computers. Many software editing programs are on the market that turn your ordinary photos into extraordinary masterpieces yet there is one program that stands out from all the others. Adobe Photoshop is undoubtedly the most popular photo editing software program on the market today and is used by amateurs and professionals alike.

You may be curious as to why professional photographers need a photo editing software program. Included in Photoshop is everything that a photographer would need to make sure every photo that was taken is incredible. Photoshop is, in essence, a a digital photo lab where you can edit and manipulate your photos to make them look their best.

The software is somewhat easy to learn. However, if you are a first time user the program you will want to play around and get yourself comfortable with the desktop and various tools. There are various tutorials available over the internet that can get you started on the basics if you feel uncomfortable with what you are seeing on your screen but I will attempt to make it easy for you.

There are four basic areas in Adobe Photoshop. At the top you see your menu bar, below that is your toolbar, the toolbox is located on the left side of your screen and the palettes are located on the right. Once you have an idea where things are all you need to do is hold your mouse over each toolbar and toolbox item and you should see a screen tip appear telling you the name of that tool.

One of the great things about this software is that it will take photos taken from an average camera and you can use the tools to make them look like they were taken with the most expensive camera on the market. With an ordinary 3 megapixel camera you can take average pictures then use Photoshop to create a masterpiece. Such is the power of this program.

Even professional photographers encounter problems with their photos. Red eye is the most common phenomenon which is nearly impossible to prevent. Usually your photo would be ruined if it had red eye on it. Fortunately, with Photoshop you have all the tools you need to remove the red eye and the viewer would never know the difference. You can find a variety of tutorials online that can help you create amazing eyes, or you can simply play around with the software on your own.

Shaky hands and blurry photos are another problem with many photos. Photoshop contains sharpening tools that are able to remove these errors. On the other hand, if you like the blurry effect there are tools included for that as well.

Dull colors and lighting problems are no longer a problem as Photoshop can take nearly any problem that seemed insurmountable and fix it with a few clicks of the mouse. Is your photo missing someone? Simply remove that person from a different photo and paste them where you want them to go. Now, this is a bit more tricky and requires a bit more experimentation, however it can be accomplished with Photoshop. Using Adobe Photoshop, you can be sure that you will be able to turn those ordinary looking photos in to something magical.

What Did you Say? – Ways to Create Effective Listening Skills

What Did you Say? – Ways to Create Effective Listening Skills

In the home based business there are many different ways to implement effective listening skills successfully. Everyday you are using your business communication skills with fellow workers, employees, clients, customers, vendors, accountants, advertisers and attorneys to name just a few.

Effective listening skills are on the top of the list of business communication skills. In my article;

Business Communications and Your Business Success, I discuss the many various forms of communication used in the business world.

With all the distractions in the business world today I am amazed that we communicate as well as we do with our business contacts. There are many times in the course of our busy days that someone talks to us and we just barely listen to what they are saying. Our minds are preoccupied with the next comment, thought, or task.

Have you ever caught yourself finishing another person’s sentence? Or have you interrupted a business contact to add your own comments before you even heard the other person out? What about interpreting what someone else said completely wrong because we did not let them finish their sentences or explain their point more clearly?

Here are some ways to create better and more productive conversations, stronger relationships and increase your bottom line.

Ways to Create Effective Listening Skills

*Use Direct Eye Contact

*On the Phone Visualize the Person

*Concentrate and Stay Focused

*Don’t Interrupt your Business Contact

*Leave a brief pause after the other Person Speaks

Use Direct Eye Contact

When you are talking to a business contact look directly at them and concentrate on what they are saying. Too many times we are thinking of what we want to say next and assume we already know what they are going to say. Not only is that very belittling to the person but it also can be the cause for many misunderstandings because we jump to a conclusion that may be incorrect.

On the Phone Visualize the Person

If you are on the phone visualize your business contacts in your mind even if you have never seen them. Create an image in your mind of what they may look like and treat them as if they were in the room with you. Do not do any tasks that are not related to the conversation at hand. It is way too easy to get distracted and miss the point being made.

Concentrate and Stay Focused

What is the message your customer or business contact is really trying to convey? Ask questions to be sure you understood what is being stated. The worst thing to do is to assume you know what your business contact is saying.

Get all the facts, clarify what you think they said and be sure to verify the key points of the conversation. If there is a follow up action needed, make sure that you both are clear on the matter.

Do not Interrupt Your Business Contact

Interrupting a business contact when they are talking is not only rude but you may totally miss the most important point the speaker is saying. Let them finish their sentence or sentences. The point that you may think you want to say might not really be relevant once you hear them out.

Leave a Brief Pause after the Other Person Speaks

Once your business contact has completed their sentences, leave a brief pause. It will give you three important results. First the listener will know that you are taking in what they said and are really listening. Second it will give you time to think of questions that may need to be asked to clarify what they said. Lastly it will give you time to address their questions or comments.

Creating excellent business communication skills will help you and your business profit in many very important ways. When we are all on the same page we can become unified in our efforts and become much more productive.

Benefits of Creating Effective Listening Skills

>Facilitates Better Decision Making

>Increases Rapport with all Business Contacts

>Creates a Friendlier Environment

>Fosters More Cooperation

>Opens doors for Increased Knowledge

>Will Create Increased Profits

Facilitates Better Decision Making

When your listening skills increase you will be more apt to ask the right questions, match the information and solutions that you received from other conversations and be able to discern the best information available from all the sources you talked to.

There are many times that we pay for advice and consulting. It could be an accountant, attorney or business consultant. Listening and learning from them will increase your specific knowledge of these subjects which you will be able to implement in your home based business.

Increases Rapport

Business contacts appreciate the respect that you give them while using effective listening skills. When they know that you are really listening to them and giving them your full attention it is amazing how much more can be accomplished.

In my article; Offer Excellent Customer Service I give numerous examples of ways in which to offer excellent customer service and most of them depend on effective listening skills. Customer service and business communications skills go hand in hand.

Creates a Friendlier Environment

Listening to your employees, business associates or other business contacts gives you the ability to understand what they need in order to get the job done correctly and with fewer misunderstandings. When everyone is on the same page productivity soars.

Fosters More Cooperation

When using effective listening skills, business contacts usually will be willing to share more time with you. As a general rule when people feel that you are being attentive they will offer more ideas to help you and your home based business succeed.

Opens doors for Increased Knowledge

With more effective listening skills you will find that you will remember more of the conversations, take the time to dig deeper and ask more thorough questions. The more time you spend with your business contact the more knowledge you will gain.

I find that people are very willing to share their wealth of information if you just take the time to listen and ask questions. This knowledge will help to propel your home based business forward.

Will Create Increased Profits

With all the great benefits we have listed you should be able to see how effective listening skills will increase your profits. You will be able to offer excellent customer service, glean valuable information from business contacts in regards to marketing, accounting, legal matters and so many other aspects of your home based business.

Effective listening skills are a necessary part of business. The home based business owner who takes the time to listen to what their business contacts are saying can and will be many more steps ahead of their competition.

How to Create Good Web Design?

Author admin    Category SEO Flash     Tags , ,

How to Create Good Web Design?

There are many different types of web design, from those built using website templates and ‘build your own’ site building applications to complex content managed and e-commerce web designs such as those used by big brand names like Amazon, eBay and Tesco.

Some companies, even some big name companies, have unprofessional looking and badly designed websites. Some have amazing looking websites but because of their high graphical content and minimal text content can take an age to load, are not user friendly and do not provide what the visitor wants.

Good Website Design

Though many aspects of website design differ from site to site, many things remain the same throughout the majority of websites on the internet. Most notably is the navigation or menu.

The way in which a website’s menu works and looks is very important, as ultimately, visitors to a website are looking for certain criteria that will make them either stay and interact or leave. This ability for a website to keep visitors interested is sometimes referred to as stickiness. Visitors want an attractive visually exciting experience, but perhaps more importantly, they want ‘ease of use’.

Website usability is a key factor for websites that want their visitors to stick around, make an enquiry and ultimately complete a transaction and order a product or service.

Easy to Use Web Design

Internet users tend to prefer easy to use websites, because they do not want to have to learn how to use a website every time they find a new one. They should be able to use a website after only a few seconds of looking around a homepage, any more and they will leave and browse elsewhere.

The need for fast user interaction is vital and therefore having a fast loading website is also important for a website to succeed. Even with faster internet connections such as broadband, internet users don’t want to wait around.

Just imagine, if you go to a shop on the high street and are totally ignored by shop assistants at the counter for 5 minutes, even after you have made it clear you want help. There is a correlation here to how an internet user may feel, when they arrive at a website that has been poorly designed, is difficult to use, unfriendly and slow to load.

Making sure that a website has been well thought out and designed with the user in mind, displays a company’s unique selling points within easily recognisable eye catching calls for action and has a clear, easy to use menu is key to its success.

Flash Web Design

With recent web design advancements, such as the introduction of Flash animation and high definition video content, impressive websites have been produced to take advantage of much higher levels of visual effects and interaction. However with this ‘high end’ web design, comes a price, more often than not, web designs which rely heavily upon Flash content are often ridiculously slow to load. They often have a progress bar, which slowly goes across the web browser to signify when the website will finish loading.

This is much like the progress bars that you may be familiar with if you use video editing or 3D rendering software, or if you use games consoles where they are displayed whilst you wait for games to load.

Internet users on the whole do not want to wait 3 – 5 minutes for a web page to load even if it does feature high resolution images, animation or video. They want fast informative content rich websites. If they wanted to watch an animation or video they would watch TV.

Good Flash Web Design

This is not to say that Flash animation is all bad news and shouldn’t be used in web design. If used subtly and in small amounts it can make a website more visually appealing without slowing the load time down too much. Suitable uses for Flash animation in web design are things such as; Flash banner advertisements, Flash video and interactive Flash forms for online questionnaires or business presentations.

Using Flash for a whole website design however, is not such a good idea. It slows the user’s experience down because they have to wait for elements of it to load. Also, sites totally developed in Flash tend to use unfamiliar menu structures and features. This can confuse visitors who just want to quickly interact with the website and not be amazed by the way the menu animates.

Just because you can do these things in Flash, it doesn’t mean they have any real working value in the real world. They may look pretty, but if they are not functional and only irritate the visitor then they have no real value.

Flash Web Design & SEO

Another argument against using Flash to create a whole website is that it dramatically reduces the effectiveness of your websites’ Search Engine Optimisation. Flash web designs are made up of one main file within a web page which search engines find difficult to index. This is because the text within them is usually graphical text and therefore is not usually accessible by search engines.

Some recent developments allow some text to be displayed for search engines in Flash websites, but this is nowhere near as effective as text content within traditional HTML based websites.

Don’t Write Off Flash in Web Design

Although Flash does have its limitations it also has its good points if used correctly. For instance; Flash animation is usually smaller in file size than traditional gif animation and because of the way it is made the animation flows smoother than gif animation too.

Having said this, I would recommend only using Flash in small areas within a site to compliment other imagery that makes up the overall design.

Finding a balance between minimal graphical elements, imagery, Flash and good quality informative text is the key to a successful user friendly website. This isn’t to say that web design needs be boring. By working with quality web design companies there’s no reason why you couldn’t have a visually exciting, well designed, easy to use and successful website.

Visually Stimulating Web Design

When visitors first arrive at a website, they want to be impressed and engaged with what the website has to offer. This will be determined by the ways in which the web designer has laid out the website’s content text, images and features.

Arranging elements such as imagery, text, graphics, flash and video in such a way as to keep the visitor interested in the website is the key to good web design. If a website has poor design and doesn’t grab the attention of the visitor in the first few seconds, then it may well be dismissed as just another average website. This ultimately means the visitor will go elsewhere to spend their time and, more importantly, money.

Good Web Design Layout

A lot of time and money is spent making sure that the right elements of websites are positioned in the right places. Companies spend large amounts of money conducting research into how internet users use their websites.

This type of research shows where their visitors’ eyes concentrate the most, which elements of the website they click on first and generally how they interact and use their websites.

Most internet users will look primarily from the top left either across the page, or down the left hand side of the web page through an internet browser via a computer, mobile phone or TV set.

I would hazard a guess, that they are looking for the company’s name or logo, their main selling points or slogans and then what the website has to offer in terms of what is featured in the menu. After which their eyes are probably drawn across the page content and over to the right hand side. Successful web design usually takes this into consideration and will ultimately affect the way a website looks.

There are of course rather famous exceptions to this rule for instance one rather well known search engine has a web design which is quite different. The main focus and core functionality in their web design is located right in the centre of the page. This however, isn’t any ordinary website with tens or even hundreds of pages of products and services to display, its main focus is its recognisable logo and of course its search box. It does however feature a small minimal menu across the top of the web design, which flows from left to right. So even they have taken onboard some of the research undertaken into internet users’ habits.

If you go looking at websites after reading this article, I can guarantee that most of the web designs you’ll see, will have a left hand menu and a defined header bar with a company logo and slogan across it.

How to Create a Navigation Links on Your Website

How to Create a Navigation Links on Your Website

Over the years of running seoblore.com, I have had numerous site owners  write to me asking why their sites does not getting more leads even coming in better ranking in all major search engine. More often than not, a quick visit to their site reveals that they have created a web page that is not visitors friendly.

I wrote an article some time back on the importance of a good navigation system for your website and how one website I examined used only JavaScript-generated links to lead to other pages on the site. Since the search engines do not understand JavaScript, they were not able to find the other pages on the website.

While that article only mentioned JavaScript-created links, this problem also applies to websites that rely only on links embedded in Flash files. Google is said to understand such links, but until search engine robot technology improves so that all search engines can easily figure out the links embedded in Flash files or JavaScript code, any website totally reliant on such links is surely at a disadvantage compared to websites that use straightforward HTML links.

Looking for cheap and quality link building, professional seo service, search engine marketing? SEOBLORE.COM is one of the leading SEO Company offering

quality Search Engine Optimization, link building and Search Engine Marketing service with low cost price for your site.
Again, this is not a call to throw out the baby with the bathwater. You do not have to ditch all JavaScript code or Flash files from your website. Instead, what you need is to provide a way for search engines (and visitors who do not have JavaScript-enabled or Flash players) to visit all the pages of your site. Put simple HTML links on your web page linking to the other pages in addition to your state-of-the-art gadgets.

You should also add a site map to your website and link to that site map from your main page. That way, search engines and human visitors who don’t have JavaScript or Flash facilities can find their way around your site.

How-to Create Web Sites Built for Search Engine Optimization

How-to Create Web Sites Built for Search Engine Optimization

All too often must I tell someone that their website must be re-created from scratch during a consultation because it was not designed with search engine optimization in mind to be performed upon the website’s completion? I have written this article in an effort to help web designers create websites that are not only search engine friendly, but that which makes it possible for a search engine optimization team to promote a web site that he or she has created upon it’s completion. This is by no means an exhaustive list of criteria, but rather a set of guidelines to follow when performing the initial development of a site.

Beware of issues with FLASH and SEO

Do not uses flash unless the designer is capable of producing a site that pulls the content in via XML. Search engine robots are able to index XML content, however getting the robot to associate that xml content with the flash file that is using it is a bit tricky and most designers that learned the “old school” way of building a flash site are not aware of such modern techniques in Flash. The other option is to build two versions of the site, one in flash and one that is html, however this is not very cost-effective and if the search engine’s are driving traffic to the html site, more than half of the site’s visitors will never even see the Flash version. A good Flash designer should also be able to tell the difference between pointless animation and that which is purposeful – meaning it enhances the user experience. Most flash content out there is pointless animation that is nothing more than a distraction that bogs down the user’s system resources.

Use unordered list elements to build navigation menus

A search engine friendly navigation menu must present links as text and not images, however if images must be used, always make sure the images have alt tags attached to them with relevant keywords. Additionally, whether you are using images or text links, always attach the title tag to the link.

Be cautious of using javascript with navigation menus

It is important to be aware of how your javascript is used for navigation. Programs like Adobe/Macromedia Fireworks can be handy as a graphic interface for creating professional-looking navigation menus, but they are far from search engine friendly. The menus that are produced with such programs usually bury the links in a slew of poorly written javascript, making it impossible for the links to be visible to robots. Javascript can be used to control the behaviors of navigation menus however, but in a different way than that which is used in such programs as Fireworks. This method involves the use of tags together with unordered lists and a javascript function within the page that is defined in an external .js file. The div is then assigned a div id and the document.getElementById() method is used within the javascript function to basically tell the menu what to do with such behaviors as onClick and onmouseover.

Separate content from presentation

This is more of a design principal than an SEO technique; however it makes the job of the optimizer much easier. This involves heavy usage of id’s and classes and defining the style information inside CSS stylesheets.

Use text wherever possible

As a general rule, it is good practice to use a div wrapper with a background image and insert the text within the div, then style it in the css, as opposed to building one image in photoshop and placing it in the web page. It is in fact much easier to just create a single image in photoshop, however it is not search engine friendly by any means.

Make sure there is text on every page

We see a lot of homepages in particular with videos and flash yet little to know text content. By looking at the vizmarketing.com homepage, you will find a lengthy paragraph near the bottom of the page that is very keyword-driven. Very few people will read that text since there are many other elements that are intended to draw the user’s attention and make them click on a nearby link, such as the “Got Video?” container. However, without that text on the page, robots would have a hard time figuring out what the web site is all about. Robots rely on the homepage to determine many things about the site, so you want to give them what they are looking for right off the bat.

Watch your meta data

Always include the title, keywords and description tags in the header. This information is critical to the proper identification of page content. A professional search engine optimizer will likely change the information contained in these tags based on keyword and competitor research, but the designer must place or modify these tags initially because you don’t want the site to be published with meta description information saying something like “Joomla – the dynamic portal engine and content management system” on every page of the site, which is what the Joomla system does as the default page title.

Keep in mind, the above stated items are design principles for search optimization, and should not be taken as actual SEO tactics.

How to Create Great Videos – Online Video Marketing Tips

By just crating your own videos and posting them on major directories and sites is a sure way to bring more traffic to the blog. However there are a lot of them out there with little or no impact. This article is just about how you can create a popular one that will catch the interest of the viewers.

Tip 1: Keep It Short and informative! – It should be about 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Too short videos may not give enough information to entice them while a very long one may exhaust everything and so there will be no need to visit for more. Give one that tells just enough to create an interest .They will come searching for rest on the site and if  the content is content you will have got quality traffic and a likelihood of the visitors recommending or spreading the video to friends.

Tip 2: Keep It Light and simple! – Make it plain, simple, funny. Don’t put a lot of seriousness on its look otherwise the viewers will flee. Use your creativity to make it appealing and seductive enough just to bring them to the blog or website.

Tip3: Respond To Comment Positively. – Comments are the best ways to gauge your success. Some will love it ,others will hate and others are real critics. You can use all this in future developments. Remember nothing appeals to all, which often doesn’t mean it’s that bad.

Tip 4: Learn From Past Mistakes. – The first few videos may not hit or bring much traffic, Learn from the failure and use the new wisdom on latter projects. Don’t be hard on your self and one day you will be a pro and have one that gets popular. Any video will still bring traffic whether from the critics or whomever and they might fall on the best this time, who knows?

Tip 5: Keep on Submitting! – Just like article marketing, the more links you have pointing to your video the more traffic and online authority you have. Find more video sites and submit, put footage on the video whatever it takes just distribute the link.
